  After-hours emergency calls include a service call fee that's higher than regular business hours. However, maintenance plan members receive priority scheduling and discounted or waived emergency fees. We always provide upfront pricing before any work begins.
• How quickly can you respond to emergencies?
  We strive to respond to emergency calls within 1-2 hours depending on current call volume and location. When you call, we'll give you an estimated arrival time. For life-threatening situations involving gas leaks, leave the home immediately and call 911 first.
• What should I do while waiting for the technician?
  For AC failures, close blinds, use fans, and stay hydrated. For heating issues, use safe space heaters or bundle up. If you smell gas or burning, turn off the system at the thermostat and breaker, and leave if you smell gas. We'll guide you when you call.
• What qualifies as an HVAC emergency?
  Emergencies include complete AC failure during extreme heat (dangerous for elderly, children, or pets), no heat when temperatures drop below freezing, gas smells, burning odors from the system, or water leaking from your unit that could cause damage.
• Do you carry parts for same-day repairs?
  Our trucks are stocked with common parts like capacitors, contactors, fan motors, and refrigerant. Most emergency repairs can be completed on the first visit. If a specific part is needed, we'll do everything possible to get it quickly and minimize your discomfort.
• Can I prevent HVAC emergencies?
  Regular maintenance is the best prevention. Most emergencies we see could have been avoided with seasonal tune-ups. We recommend servicing your AC in spring and heating in fall. Changing filters monthly and addressing small issues early also helps prevent breakdowns.
